Denise “Dion-Isis” Dumars, M.A., is an Isian minister and priestess and co-founder of the Iseum of Isis Paedusis in Manhattan Beach, California. She has been active in the Pagan and New Age community since the 1970s. Dumars co-wrote The Dark Archetype and her articles appear regularly in the Llewellyn annuals and in journals such as SageWoman and Fate. She teaches English at a college in Southern California.
