Rebecca Beattie lives on Dartmoor and has a PhD in creative writing from Middlesex University, where she researched and wrote a novel about Mary Webb. She is the author of two novels, The Lychway and Somewhere She Is There, and a book of short stories, The Softness Of Water. She is also the author of Nature Mystics - The Literary Gateway to Modern Paganism. Rebecca has been a regular teacher at Treadwell's Books in Bloomsbury for many years.
